12 Turk's Cap Lily rhizoms, Lilium superbum, turks Cap Lily, is a perennial wildflower native to the eastern and central US. It's the tallest native American lily, growing up to 9 ft tall with slender stems and whorled leaves. In early to mid-summer, it produces clusters of downward-facing, bell-shaped flowers that are orange to red and spotted with maroon. The flowers have greenish throats and reflexed petals that curve back to form a "Turk's cap" shape.
